What we store and why
Simple Discounts stores merchant shop information, discount configurations, and the product data needed to apply discounts. It stores no end-customer PII.
Data lives in managed Postgres on AWS infrastructure (us-east-1). It is retained while the merchant's subscription is active and deleted within 30 days of uninstall via Shopify's shop/redact webhook; backups age out within 35 days.
